Blind Pig Replicale 2010 from The Blind Pig Brewery

Keg at the brewery as Hattori Hanzo. Golden, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, dill, lemongrass. Taste is pale malt, citrus, lime, resin, lemongrass. Medium bodied, bright. Nice. 14.3k and Illinois #200! Which means I have exactly 14.1k non-Illinois ticks.

Keg at the brewery. Clear golden, thin creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of salt, lemon, spice. Taste is salt, wheat, lemon, orange. Medium bodied, crisp.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2017. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a large white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of tropical fruits and citrus with some sweet grains backing. Flavor combines tropical fruit and light citrus with a light grain backbone.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2017. Pours a cloudy earthy deep amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sour black current, a bit of grain underlying and a light bread note. Flavor has a good tart black current note supported by grains and bread. A touch thin.

At Great Taste 2015. gold color. Fairly large head. Smoke in the aroma and flavor, and I get smoked bacon. Often I do not taste smoked meat in smoked beers, particularly, with rauchbier, but here I do. Dry, earthy malt. I enjoyed this.

Draft. Hazy golden yellow color, medium white head. Dusty and peppery aroma. Taste has overripe fruit with a decent helping of funk. Tasty.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2015. Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of dark grains with a bit of toffee and hint of pine. Flavor has dark grains, bread and a bit of roast supported by a hint of pine.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2015. Pours a hazy amber gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a bit of tropical fruit with a notes of citrus and an earthy grain backbone. Flavor has sweet and earthy grains up front with a bit of citrus and grass backing.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2015. Pours a near clear gold with a fluffy white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces slightly. Aroma has a nice smoke note with some sweet grains and a touch of bacon backing. Flavor has a good amount of bacon and smoked meat supported by sweet grains.
