Pour is a motor oil black with almost no head at all. Aroma is a decent roast/char malt. Flavor is again a roasted and charred malt. Finish is light but leaves some roasted malt on the tongue. As a stout this is fine but this is totally missing the lactose sweetness you want to have in this style. Decent malt used but barley any lactose.

Guest tap at Bella. Murky brown pour with small ring of head. Boozy aroma, peat, earth. Taste too is earthy, dark malts. Thin. No finish.

Pour is a dark brown with some red highlights. Aroma is a dark fruit malt with some molasses. Flavor is a little roasty with some treacle and raisin. A little watery would be my only knock against the beer but this is pretty spot on for the style. Almost like an English style ale with a bit more bitterness.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is bready malt with some creamy yeast nutrients. Flavor is more of a heavy lager malt and a bittering finish. Decent beer, you defiantly get the unfiltered malt and yeast presence.

Pour is a clear golden with almost no head at all. Aroma is a doughy sweet malt with not much else. Flavor is again a way too sweet malt with no bitterness. This is boarding on a malt liquor feel with the syurpy sweet malt. Not a good example of the style by a long shot.

Pour is a clear golden with a huge white head. The head overflowed the glass even with a gentle pour. Aroma is a adjunct laiden lager with a corn syrup sweetness the most predominant. Flavor is again a sweet and cloying sweetness. The sweetness is almost to much to handle. Too much adjuncts in this beer to even recommend to the most passionate lager drinkers
