Cask at the Queen Vic. It pours slightly hazy golden - blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, green, grassy, weedy, gooseberry crumble, white grape, melon, limeade, pic n mix and jelly tots. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing bitterness which lingers, fresh, green, grassy, slightly herbal, piney, green fruits, gooseberry, white grape, melon, pithy, zesty, pink grapefruit, lime peel, touch of bread and biscuit in the malt base with a drying, bitter finish. Average body and soft, fluffy cask carbonation. Bright, fruity and has a pleasing bitterness. Moreish.

Cask at Poste of Stone, Stone. Pours a hazy golden straw with a small foamy almost white head. There’s tropical fruits in the aroma alongside hints of yeast and melon. In the mouth it is fairly sweet with floral hops and autumn fruits plus traces of citrus and mango. Some stickiness in the finish. This is reasonable.

Cask at Queen Vic, Aberdeen. It pours clear deep gold with a sturdy off - white head. The aroma is fresh, peppery spice, damp grass, herbal accents, hint of aniseed, berry skin, biscuit and hit of Victoria sponge cake. The taste is firmly dry upfront with some bitterness that makes an appearance later on and builds, malt - driven, earthy, biscuity malts, baked goods, wood, touch of leather berry skin, peppery juniper, grass and herbal vibes with a dry, toasty finale. Light+ body and moderate cask carbonation. Quite an interesting offering. Has a subtlety of depth. Quite hearty for the abv.

Third of a cask pint in my local Wetherspoons on 14th October 2024. Slight haze in the pale golden body, white crust on top. Citrus leaning aroma and taste, tropical fruity feel, drying finish; it was fine.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Golden-amber with a hint of haze and a thin white head. Great condition albeit a little cold. Apricot up front with lemon and grapefruit coming through and a dry and mildly bitter finish with a touch of twig. A little better than the Hogs Back effort I'd had just before, but fairly forgettable nevertheless.

Cask at the Standing Order. Pours lightly hazed yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of light tropical fruit and grapefruit. Taste is more of the same. Light bitter finish.
