Growler during RBWG. Pours a hazy yellow with small off white head. The aroma is corn malt and biscuit. Medium body, sweet corn malt, light booze, crushable, thanks Danny!

Bottle from Homer, 2014 vintage. Pours clear reddish hazel, small beige head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving decent residual and lacing. Aroma is definintely chili pepper, chocolate, vanilla, definite tequila notes. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, vanilla much less prominent than in base beer, tequila barrel adds some smoothing and oaky tequila notes -- chili peppers provide some flavor but only a hint of heat on the finish; a bit bell peppery, like bad coffee. Medium body. Mellower and better rounded than the base, less ABV burn, less vanilla. Definitely an improvement.

750 ml bottle from Homer321. Nose is roasted peppers, raisins, vanilla, and a hint of toffee. Murky brown with a medium lightly lacing beige head. Flavor is malty and fruity similar to a Belgian with only a minor amount of heat although the pepper flavors are nicely presented.

Medium sweet flavor with a bit of alcohol, berries, pale bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with some sharp berry notes, tannin, wood. Good one.
