Cask at the brewpub, 22/02/15. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is vanilla, chocolate, roast malt, tar. Taste comprises chocolate, toffee, mellow dark fruit, nutty. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok porter.

Cask at the brewpub, 22/02/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is dark malts, nutty, cocoa powder, toffee. Taste comprises mellow dark fruits, toffee, nutty, light smoke. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent well rounded mild, plenty of flavour on offer.

Cask at the brewpub, 22/02/15. Murky orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is malt forward, bitter orange, light biscuit. Taste comprises caramel, light smoke, biscuit malt, toffee. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so, on the bland side.

A golden amber ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with grassy resinous hops, light harsh character, oily mouth feel, light butterscotch, unbalanced. Cask at brewery.

A golden ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, light grassy biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, OK. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, resinous character, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth, light mineral notes, nice. On tap at brewery.

A hazed golden blonde stout with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice coffee grind and light chocolate, very surprising and pleasing. In mouth, a nice sweet biscuit malt with light fruity esters, loads of coffee notes, light acidity, overall, very nice. On tap at brewery.

A copper amber ale with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, nice grainy biscuit malt with grassy British hops, nice. In mouth, nice biscuit malt with caramel and rye notes, light iron, nice and bold, with good rye notes. On tap at brewery.
