Draft at the source in a 10 oz. glass. The color is slightly hazy pale yellow liquid. The nose has light pale grain but it is mostly light and piney. Nice balance in the flavor, with lightly sweet pale grain with the finish turning into citrus and slight floral hops. Very subtle bitterness that does not linger for long. Medium body that shows a good malt to hops ratio. This APA ends clean, good.

10 oz. draft at the brewery. Copper color with lasting head giving spotty lacing. Toasted cereal and malt aromas. Lighter side of medium body, good carbonation and herbal bitterness. Toasted flavors, molasses, balanced hops and malts. It is what is should be for the style.

Treated as an imperial style, we both opted for snifters.
The appearance was a fairly dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that slid off at a gentle pace. Mild lace.
The aroma had pecan/walnut sweet and roasty qualities over top of a subtle dark chocolate and some sweet oats. Smooth sweet leather and tree bark round it out with a touch of earthy to grassy hop bitterness subtleties.
The flavor took the prior mentioned aromas to boot - superior sweet to roastiness flowing over the nuts. Semi-sticky sweet to roasty aftertaste riding into the finish.
The palate was medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt low but acceptable. ABV felt as projected by the brewer.
Overall, pretty damn good imperial brown ale that I could have again.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that held and fell off at a decent pace. Sly messy lace.
The aroma had some sweet and roasty nuts up front with a nice smooth caramel/toffee maltiness rolling in and then through some nice earthy hops.
The flavor held the balance of sweet to roasty and bringing in some toast, damp wood and a light butterscotch to blend with the prior noted aromas. Sly aftertaste of the malts. Quick malty finish.
The palate was about medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Fairly smooth to the touch along my tongue.
Overall, pretty nice English styled brown ale that I could come back to.

This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a burnt amber color with a sly transparency about it. Mild finger’s worth of white foamy head that sat atop and slid off at a mild pace. Some light stringy lace.
The aroma had some soft herbal to earthy malty tones up front. Light mineral character, some butterscotch, leather and driftwood round out the edges somewhat nice. Touch of floral hops at the end.
The flavor was smooth sweet crisp malts up front with the hops tones fairly low and smooth. Not much of an aftertaste but did a nice job of allowing everything to really smooth out very nicely in the finish.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt low, but it’s supposed to, so I’m not worried. ABV felt as projected.
Overall, for my first 7th Settlement beer, I’m quite impressed with this one. I’d definitely have again.

10 oz. draft at the source. Color is a cloudy golden color, lacing along the snifter. Aromas quite nice; tropical fruits showing pineapple, mango a little bit of an earthy kick. (maybe pine like)
Flavor follows with the tropical fruit character. The malt and hop profile is decent, yet the bitterness does shine through in the finish. Good hop slap. Alcohol is slightly noticeable but not distracting and doesn’t hinder the flavor. Actually the poor stepped up his game on this one. Maybe one of the best I personally have sampled at this brewery. Afterall, I have had a few (sly little smirk showing sarcasm)

8 oz. draft at the source. Color is a very deep brown with lasting head and a Pilsner glass. Aroma is light roasted grain, weak coffee, mild chocolate. Body, texture, and mouthfeel are correct for the style. Overall this is text book to style.

Tap at the Thirsty Moose. Slightly hazy light golden color with almost no head by the time it got to me. Great banana on the nose. Light sweet bready flavor with hints of pepper and plenty of clove and spicy to counter nicely. Great Hefe!

Served on Nitro at the Granite State Brewers Fest. Slightly hazy straw color finely bubbled white head that went on for days. Sweet bready malt with bits of corn and cereal graininess. Velvety smooth creamy mouthfeel. Nice cream ale.
