Description
Don't buy beer from strangers…

Our New Hampshire craft brewery is more than a tank-filled room or the drifting scents of hops and malt. It is passion for innovation and a deep love for quality, locally-sourced and inspired craft beers.

The beauty of 7th Settlement Brewery goes beyond brewing killer craft beers. It is more than a passion, calling, or science; it's a decade-long friendship and a dream come to a fruition. Our brewers, Nate and Josh, brew not only with their love and expertise for quality beer, but with deep respect for each other's skills. That long-thought plans of opening a brewery have come to become a reality still brings a smile to our brewer's faces every day. And the support for our New Hampshire craft brewery is constantly overwhelming. Seeing all of the hard work in planning, licensing, financing, building and brewing come to a head in a pint of 1623 Almighty Brown at the bar, we could never take a pint for granted at 7th Settlement.

Sampled at the Granite State Brewers Fest. Slightly hazy golden color. Citrus tropical earthy pine and grassy hop aroma and flavor. Faint bready maltiness. I struggle with this style, almost never enough malt imho.

Draft at the brewery. Clear yellow body with weak sweet grain aroma. Flavor like the aroma sweet grainy malt with little hops bitterness.

The body is borderline watery but does show nice honey like notes with lager notes. Watery but technically speaking it is brewed just fine.

10 oz glass. Great carbonation in a hazy yellow liquid. Lacing coats the glass. Aroma is herbal, citrus, and grassy. The flavor had an abundance of hops. Herbal right upfront with a lighter honey grain base. The bitterness shows the grass but also pine. The bitterness is substantial and is very much like a higher gravity IPA.

The hop varieties work really well, pretty nice stuff!

Overall, light citrus with a mild floral bitterness. Reasonable drinkable character although a tad light in body.

10 oz. Snifter at the pub. Deep dark Brown, small thin head. Aroma is roasted nuts, earthy malt, Captain Morgan like nuance.

Full bodied brown ale base: roasted nuts, like chocolate notes. The finish shows the rum with a light boozy aftertaste. This is a sipper without a doubt, whoa!
