Full 4 oz pour from a can at Spacebar, poured by DCLawyer. Thanks Jason, thanks. Took an ounce or so and poured the rest back into DCLawyer’s can. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of dish soap, corn, malt, wheat. Tastes of corn, wheat, malt. Light body with a dry finish.

12 ounce can. Let’s call a spade a spade. This is a cheap beer. At $8.00 for a 12 pack of 12 ounce cans, this is as inexpensive as it gets for a local brew. It looks good, a bright honey gold color with a clinging lace. It has a grainy malt nose. Thin bodied and lacking any real flavor. But it is easy to quaff and is still better than what the Mega Breweries have to offer. (A quick update: In May of 2021, it’s still $8.00 for a 12 pack at Laurenti’s Shop Rite Liquors In Mercerville, NJ.)

12 ounce bottle. Hazy Kraft Caramels color. Moderate foamy beige head. Pine hop aroma. Flavor brings more piny hops and sweet caramel malt flavor. Light carbonation on palate. Some bready notes as well. Finish has citrus hops and resiny hops. Largely unimpressive.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 12/13/15

Aroma: The nose is caramel malts, sweet and boozy, some over-ripe fruity hops as well
Appearance: Pours a murky orange color with a frothy off-white head and plenty of lace
Flavor: The taste is malt, booze, and over-ripe fruit, not much hop flavor, fairly sweet
Palate: A little sticky on the mouth with a bit of heat, and a finish that is just...off
Overall Impression: Not sure if this beer is old (hard to trust Buy Rite sometimes) or just not very good. Could be both. It has that over-ripe fruit, alcohol, heavy malt thing you get in mediocre DIPAs, and it has it in spades. Not my thing.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy peach color with a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet with notes of sugar, sour caramel and reasonably strong pine and orange. The flavor was bitter with a sour, almost off caramel note followed by sugar, pine, lemon, orange and tobacco. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Decent.
