Aroma of malts, hay, fruits, hops. Flavour is light malty sweetness with some nice hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Yes, sort of like a strong Pilsner, but superior because of the potent hops.

Aroma of bready malts, fruits, yeast, hops. Flavour is malty, some sweetness, more hops, with a nice bitter finish. If this is a Pilsener, it’s one of my favourites.

Aroma of malt, caramel, lots of chocolate, some dark fruit, raisins. Flavour is medium sweet with a pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite well-balanced, I love that the sweetness is so restrained compared to most uber-sweet Bocks. Like the other Christoffel beers, they realise the value of bittering hops. My kind of Bock.

Bottle at home. Aroma of biscuity malt, citrus, orange, hint of pine resin, a slight herbal note, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Body is medium. Rather restrained flavour but I like the touch of orange in the aroma. Also smooth and pleasant.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een licht troebel goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van kruiden. De smaak is vol, fruitig, zacht zoet, kruidig en een hint sinaasappel.
