Speciaalbierbrouwerij St. Christoffel
Client Brewer in Haarlem, Noord-Holland, Netherlands 🇳🇱
Established in 1986

Goede degelijke tripel.

Bottled (from De Biertonne). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is alcohol, some sweet fruits, mild toffee as well as some slight toasted malts to it. Flavour is fruity, some slight toasted malts, toffee and some dried fruits and mild spices. A sharp edge to it though, and a quite watery mouthfeel.

33cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a off-white head. Aroma of citrus, resinous hops and reddish wheat malt. Taste of red malt, wheat, citrus and resinous bitter hops.

Bottle. Just unclear amber with a fluffy inch + of white head. Aroma of crackers, toast, oranges. Lightish bodied. Tangy wheat crackers, oranges, spices at the end. Bitter but not so much it obscures the wheatiness. Refreshing. Pretty cleverly balanced.

Bottle. Almost clear gold with a cm of white head that lasts well. Aroma is doughy with spices (coriander, white pepper) and oranges. And so it tastes. Perhaps a little drier than expected with alcohol and moderate bitterness contributing to that impression at the finish. Slightly creamy texture with moderate carbonation. A good lowbrow tripel.
