0,5 l bottle. BB 07/26. Murky golden in the glass with a more than one finger white head. Yeast and wheat on the nose, some banana and orange. Taste is more on the orange side, followed by wheat and yeast with sweet ripe banana. Hints of sulfur. Little bit dry and bitterness to the end. Below average carbonation. Not bad.

From Amstein, St-Légier, best before 2024, drinking it yesterday, at home, after a full day. For me, it was a nice dubbel, full body, malt, a bit boozy, warm, sweet, touch of toffee, plum, yeasty, normal bitterness, a bit nutty.

0.33 l bottle @ home, a gift from Germany. Pours deep brown with thick, white head. Sweet, fruity-yeasty nose and its taste is mainly the same, with some brown/burnt sugar. Short sweetish finish, slight overcarbonation and too light body. Heavier body and stronger flavours wouldnt hurt, but not too bad nevertheless.

0.33 l bottle shared at home with my father. Pours very pale yellow with thin, persistent white head. Typical Belgian, fruity-flowery nose . Taste is quite the same, but a bit dull and something is a bit weird about it, but I'm not quite sure what it is. Slightly overcarbonated, has relatively light body and closes with sweet finish.

opalescent golden colour, large, dense ivory-like white head; aroma of lemony-lemongrassy, wheaty, floral, coriander and some clove-like spicy notes; taste has the same notes with some bready, hoppy-bittery and spicy notes; correct one

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a slightly hazy yellow, with a very large white head. Aroma is loaded with malted wheat, and cereals, sharp grass, light herbs, and hints of orange. Mouth feel is silky, carb ia very soft. Finish is lightly bitter, leaning way more towards the malts, than aromatic herbs and hops than this style should. Quite earthy, and malt forward, hops take a back seat.
