Drowning in the depth of your... Crazy complex ice cider... Every second drinking this is an intense sweet and sour second to be savoured.

Bottle bought through Wine Trade. Pours clear deep amberish golden leaving some subtle legs in the glass while dissipating. Smell is heavy fruity with very ripe mixed apples, ripe pears, ripe pineapple, star fruit, hay, dry soil, minerals, lemon peal and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, sour and heavy fruity. Mouthfeel is oily, viscous, round, tart, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and sour with mixed smashed concentrated apples, pineapple, star fruit, hay, minerals, lemon peal and hints of alcohol. Huuuuge tropical fruit bomb with pineapple and star fruit. Crazy good!! Insane really... The acidity contra the sweetness is a match made in heaven.

Bottle at SISGA 2015. Very sweet, very rich and very complex one. In the finish it somehow even manages to cut the sweetness with some acidity. Alcohol never disturbs, it retains a harmonic balanced overall impression. Excellent.

Bottle at SISGA 2015. Quite sweet one and also very interesting. Strength is pleasant, alcohol rather hidden, only pleasantly warmimg. Rich apple flavour. Very good.

Bottle bought through Wine Trade. Pours clear tiny sparkling greenish golden with a small fizzy and bubbly golden head that quickly dissipates only leaving some legs on the glass. Smell is heavy fruity with mixed smashed ripe apples (sweet and sour), pineapple, star fruit, mango, lilacs, hay, minerals, damp leaves, leather and lemon peal. Taste is sweet, sour and heavy fruity. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tart and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and sour with mixed smashed apples, star fruit, pineapple, hay, minerals and lemon peal. Heavy fruity just the way I love it. Sweet but in no way cloying, their ice cider terroir shows. No detectable funk which I guess could up the overall experience even further if incorporated with skill. I feel I’m nitpicking... This is a damn good "imperial" cider. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cider Pernilla Perle on 03 Oct 2015 at 19:28 - Score: 8. Original review text: Huge tropical character. Star fruit galore! Sweet but not cloying. Suiting tartness. Strong and reminiscent of a lighter ice cider. Yum!

Bottle thanks to Jacob - Pours amber. Nose/taste of frozen apple, caramel and sticky sweet caramel - full body.

Nice golden color. There is a ton of sweetness in here. smells like granny smith and grape must. Not as thick as I’d like to have but there is a ton of complexity. Very well balanced. Cherry, pear, tart apples. super deep in everyting. I still prefer the Quebec Ciders but this is pretty exceptional.

My first non-beer on this site. 375ml bottle. Ours pale yellow, but still elegant. Sweet apple aroma of an apple sort that probably is rather sour, I like. Very pure. Very sweet taste, not dry at all, but incredibly tasty. I’m glad I tried this.

375mL bottle, pours a clear yellow with a tiny head. Nose brings out dry lightly tart apples, some prominent woody notes, and a very light acidity. Flavour is lovely, with medium intense sweetness, a little caramelized apples, some wood and a gentle acidity. Not the most complex ice cider out there, but everything is balanced. Not too sweet. A lovely sipper -- not quite but nearly in excellent territory.
