Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Clear deep golden. Pungent artificial truffle oil aroma, bland and spicy. Just horrible.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Dark brown colour, thin beige head and aroma of malt, molasses, chocolate. Taste is malty, caramel, chocolate, coffee, with some earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying roasty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Tåkete lys brun med hvitt skum som blir liggende. Lukter malt, humle, aprikos og grapefrukt. Mild i smak. Nesten ikke bitterhet. Malt, urter og litt i mot aprikos i smak. Leskende. Noe tørr avslutning.

3/6/2023. Bottle shared at SBGP3. From Marek. Pours very dark brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, cocoa, nut, coffee, liquorice. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slightly creamy, average carbonation. Much better than I expected.

Vor einigen Jahren habe ich dieses Bier einmal getrunken, aber dann vergessen zu bewerten. Zum Glück hat es nach wie vor einen Fixplatz im Sortiment vom Getränkehändler Ammersin. Es ist ein klassisches IPA, das solide Qualität und Hopfigkeit bietet, aber sonst auch nicht mehr. Kann man gerne mal probieren.
