Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Brown-black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Nutty and malty aroma with chocolate notes. Medium body with flavors of roasted nuts, malt and cocoa. The finish is roasty with a nutty and malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Tap at the Davis Graduate. Pours translucent dark gold with a white head. Aroma seems tropical, citrus and earthy. Medium body or so. Reasonably dry; lots of hop. Bitter; mild hop burn. Detectable roasty malt. New school West Coast. Hop wise. Very good.

22oz bottle pours out pink topped with a small head. Nose is nice big sweet berries some oak barrel. Tatse is more of the nice sweet berries the oak, but calling it a lambic is very silly.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pour color is translucent, arguably reddish brown. Whitish head. Aroma is oak, white berry, mild sour, perhaps yeast, and malt that might be a little roasty - questionable, but maybe. Med body or a little better. Flavor is more towards red berry than white berry for me. It’s oaky, mildly astringent, somewhat yeasty, moderately malty. Very moderately sour. It’s actually exquisite. A really, really good beer.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours a somewhat hazy orangey gold with a whitish head. Aroma seems spicy. Saphir hop? Clove? Med body. Clove it is. Even seems to be a bit of Earl Grey tea taste. Bergamot. This is quite unusual for flavor - at least in an IPA. Kudos to 6R for pushing the envelope. If you have doubts at first quaff, persevere. Worth it.
