Bomber from Craft Beer Kings. Pours very hazy ruddy brown with a beige head. Aroma is malty, medium dark fruit, arguably candi. Med body or better. Starts that way, then seems to thin towards plain old medium. Flavor is malt, medium dark fruit, and I think candi. It’s drier than I expected, and it’s a little more bitter than I expected. If it’s medium malt in a darkish way you are looking for, this might be the thing.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Spicy Xmas aroma. Med + body. Flavor is mixed Xmas spice, lots of "treacle". Tasty, but not a beach beer! Not dry.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown; orange glints; creamy tan head. Aroma is light dark malt with a chocolate hint. Body is a bit light. Flavor is dark malt, some chocolate, and some sweet. A bit lactic. Brings English dark mild to mind. Not very bitter. Not strongly sweet. Good break from strong ales.

Bottle to pint. Best of the bunch from a Central Valley rating. Pine and slight citrus no range-copper and clear with minimal head.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours bright gold with a white head. Cracker aroma. Deep inhale reveals grass/spice. Med body. Flavor is a bit sour/tart - or more than a bit. Arguably nails the style. It’s wheaty, sour, spicy. Dry and astringent. Lactic too. I am shocked, do you understand, shocked, to just run into such a great sour without warning.
