On tap at Brickworks, pours a clear pinkish red with almost no head. Aroma reveals lots of wood, with a very pleasant oakiness, red wine tannins, and maybe a hint of subdued cherry skins. Flavour is bone dry, with tons of red wine tannins, oak barrels, dry apple skins, and a subtle kiss of cherry. The oak and red wine really steal the show here. Very nice.

On tap at Brickworks, pours a clear pale peachy rose colour with no head. Aroma reveals bone dry apples, with no real notice of the other fruit or honey. Flavour is likewise bone dry, with lots of floral notes and crisp apple skins. Again, not getting the other fruit. Pleasant but not a lot of depth.

On tap at Brickworks, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a champagne-like effervescence, with dry apples, some skins, and a hint of wildness. Flavour matches all these qualities, with a lot of the champagne character. Really nicely done.

On tap at Brickworks, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals fairly dry apples, with a light wildness, and some apple skins. Flavour is not all that dry, with semi-sweet apples and some dry apple skins. Simple but clean and well-made. Ordinary.

Smells of soft sweet apple with some wheat dough, has an okay soft foam and yellow body. Flavour is bright apples with some sweetness. Full enough on the mouth. Rather boring but all right on a hot summer day.

Brickworks Mint & Basil flavored cider 6.5% Crystal clear white wine looking pour with a mint & basil mojito like aroma. Light bodied with lots of mint then some basil before the cider wraps things up. Decent if you like mint/basil.

A pale yellow cider with aroma of tart apples, light acidity, light chalky notes, soapy. In mouth, a nice tart mix of mint, apple and basil, interesting but cloying in the end. On tap at Mill St Ottawa location.
