GABF 2015. Multiple pours. Pours a light hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat smoked, lemony, tart, juicy, twangy flavor. Refreshing and super tasty. A pal I was with has minimum beer knowledge and fell in love with this beer. Nicely done.

Draft @ The League Kitchen & Tavern, Austin, TX. 22 oz mug. Cloudy gold/ orange colored beer with lasting frothy head. Some lacing. Smell is a nice bold floral hops with tones of pine. Bitterness was long lasting with a big floral presence.

Body is medium with a nice bone dry texture. This paired really well with my homemade burger and fries. Truly a nice bone dry IPA. Enjoyable.

Draft at Craft Pride, Austin. Nice bright hazy yellow color. Great yeast phenols, banana, clove, light spice. Just as it should be.

The flavor is that of the authentic German varieties. Nice chewy yeast texture with a spicy clove finish. Gosh, in a blind taste test I would say this was breweries in Germany. It’s nice to see an American brewer do a Hefeweizen this well. Very nicely done!

Sample at Mongoose vs Cobra. Clear copper color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt and mild hops. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet malt, earthy hops and slight fruit. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Average overall.

Growler from a friend split 3 ways. Very hazy light yellow with a small 3 finger head that faded fast. i was told carbonation on this growler was way weaker than it should have been. Lovely nose, earthy wheat with a light sweetness of brown sugar and grape. Taste is nice. lovely banana but not overwhelming. touch of sweetness and the mouthfeel was out of this world. Possibly my favorite Hefe ever.
