ive lived in hartford my whole life and since i started getting into micro beers a few years ago i purposefully didnt go into city steam. i didnt want to think that it was what i thought it was, a bullshit brewpub that makes third rate micro that they wished tasted as good as most macros. this one is one of the more popular brews and it tasted like miller trying to make an irish red. no way its an english pale, or "amber", this is trying to taste like killians

growler-pours a tight foamy off white head and gold color. Aroma is lemon/pine hops, hint of light malt. Taste is lemon/pine/herbal hops-some raw/bitter, some light malt. The bitter gives way to some alcohol. Thanks to kwatts1014 for picking this up on her trip to New England.
