a solid DIPA. nothing extroadinary, but its solid. nice citric hops, some sweet grassy notes, grapefruit, and a touch of skunky oily hops. Flavor is nice and bitter great hop flavors of citrus, and a decent malt balance. a really solid good fix for my hop withdrawls. up here in no hops land i really appreciate a beer like this.

12 oz. can from Total Wine, Union, NJ. Pours a mostly clear pale yellow-gold color with a white head and good retention. Almost no lacing. Lots of streaming bubbles. Generic beer aroma. Generic flavor too. Basic pale malt flavor, slightly sweet, with some Euro lager/grass notes in the finish. Soft mouthfeel. Average carbonation. No bitterness. No frills. Okay.

From old tasting notes. Pale yellow gold color. Smooth, creamy white head. Light, tart, Apple peel malt aroma. Light, zesty malt flavor with lots of carbonation. Brie, tart finish. Very little aftertaste.

Bottle thanks to Kevin. Pours a clear amber with small off white head. The aroma is floral hop and pine. Medium mouth with a strong hop bite, resin, citrus, hides alcohol well, very good.

Hazy orange with huge off-white foamy head. Nose is pine and grapefruit with some caramel hiding in the background. Modestly sweet start with a good buildup of bitter citrus and some pear for balance. Medium oily mouth with a dry finish. Well balanced.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Hampton Falls Village Market. Darker than most tripels, a nearly see through amber with conditioned yeast particles floating around. Nose is a very light fruity yeast. Flavor is hints of mild malt, fruity banana and some spice in the finish. Texture and body is watery. Really thin in flavor and body. So many other brews in this style to choose from… I’ll pass on this one.
