Aroma is light, slight earthiness. Fun, spicy, slight fruit, herbs, toast. Complex, interesting beer.

Bottle from Hamilton Wine, recommendation of Chris, thank you sir! Clear golden yellow color, small white head. Aroma of fruity, grassy hay. Taste is softly bitter straw and hay. Nice stuff.

Bottle shared with Leon, Mike et al at Brothers. This is a really clean, crisp and fruity IPA with pretty decent balance.

Cask handpull at Omeroys. Hazy dark reddish brown color, bright tan edge head. Aroma of nutella on toast. Taste is watery caramel, toast, subtle peppermint. Decent. Needs more body. Add rye?

Cask handpull at Pom’s. dark variegated amber brown color, thick tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of black bread dipped in espresso. Taste is coffee grounds. Extremely light body detracts from an otherwise tasty beer.

Hazy light amber. Thin head. Mandarin & mango aroma. Mild bitterness, 35 ibus, fruity, refreshing hops. Good balancing pale malt, but not as clean b/c of yeast as I’d like.

Bottle. Cloudy dull amber with a coat of off-white head. Fruity aroma with apples, pears, oranges and a little toffee. Lovely soft mouthfeel. Taste is strongly malty with sweet - and slightly buttery - toffee and fruit before a decent whack of slightly spicy bitterness. The finish doesn’t emerge seamlessly - there’s a bit of a lurch. [3.2]New look bottle, 5.3% ABV. Pours bright this time. Aroma is fruity but subdued (-1), taste is a little cleaner and less butterscotchy (+1). Firm bitterness. No great magic to it, but a pretty solid strongish bitter.
