(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 17 Feb 2023) Dark reddish amber colour with creamy, tan head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, toast, apricot marmalade and spicy hops. Malty taste with caramel, toast, crisp-bread and a balanced spicy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Bottle from the source. Pours a hazy golden colour and a small white head with pretty good retention. Aroma's: fruity, light vegetal, malty. Retronasal it's malty sweetish, a hint of butter even, light fruit. Flavour is light malty sweet with a hint of bitter. Light bodied. Finishes light moderate bitter. Pretty good, this could have been German.
