Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, malts, metal, some slight rubbery notes along with some cardboard. Flavour is hops, malts, some rubber and also some slight weird and harsh notes from hops.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour, mediumsized fluffy white head, that disappears fast. Hay, paper and some rubber in the aroma. Flavour is quite much the same along with some notes of cardboard.

On tap at the brewery. Clear, medium sized white lacy head, delicate malty aroma with a light hoppiness, light bitter and sweet flavour, light bodied as well, increasing, but still mild, bitterness towards the shorter malty finish. O.K., average, but clean Desitka.......

Bottle at the brewpub. Pale golden, medium sized loose head, unfermented wort in the aroma, sweetish and watery taste, short sweetish and slightly bitter finish. Monotonous brew.........

On tap at the brewery tavern : Pale golden to golden, a bit unclear, light fruity lemony nose over a light malty background, light to moderate sweet and bitter flavour, light bodied, mild citrousy finish with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. A clean and well crafted summer drink..........

Bottle courtesy of CigarCityBrew. Amber color with a nutty colored head. Aroma is roasted and caramelly. Taste is sugary/candi, caramel malt. First sip has the pilsner signature, but it is followed by the nice flavors of a schwarzbier (roasted). Also noted some grains. I am enjoying these Czech dark beers more and more.

Golden copper brown color, small white head. Aroma has metal, woody hops, rubbery low alcohol notes and light diacetyl. Ok malty for being 4.0 % brew, but harsh with unpleasant hop flavor. Quick finish.

Pale yellow color, not much head. Strong annoying buttery diacetyl aroma. Flavor is harsh with some sourness and butterness with oily watery finish. Not very enjoyable - with or without sugar.

(Bottle at GFB, 2008)On June 13, 2008BB 29-07-08Extreme gushing. Slight shady straw color, small white head. Sweet scent with some chemical off-flavor. Thin , sweet, chemical and sharp bitter taste. Thin body, sharp bitterness.

Dark red ruby color, decent sized creamy beige head. Toasted syrupy aroma with notes of diacetyl and woody hops. Medium-bodied. Toasted, buttery flavor. A bit acidic and diacetylic. Also some odd sweetness, propably from saccarine. Finish has hoppy bitterness. In the aftertaste there is some bitterness. Quite basic and typical Czech dunkel. With 11 degree gravity just a bit too thin at the end.
