Description

Bottle. A hazy, golden beer with some yeast chunks. A creamy off-white head sits patiently on top, leaving curtains as I drink. Fruity and yeasty nose, yellow apples, citrus, lime-peel and a sugary touch. Quite dry in the mouth, a spiced and yeasty flavor lurks in the background, while lime, lemon and apples do the fruity frontend work. Some bitterness as the beer slides down the throat. Definately not a beer I could drink a lot of, but it’s also far from bad. 100424

Bottle in Delirium. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Dark and rather sweet. Metallic note. Just a rather bland lightly sweet brown beer. Ok. Not exciting.

Bottle that I picked up at Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium, 08-03-10 consumed 11-03-10 Pours a hazy morning after urine type colour with a white head. Soft in the mouth, the spices coming through on a light and sweet orange base. Its a touch sweet but its a pleasant enough beer. A6 A3 F7 P3 Ov13 3.2

Medium fine white head over hazy orangey beer. Dry nose, liqueurish, alcohol seriously coming up with warming. Liqueurish flavour again, citrus, orangepeel, alcohol. Sweeter strawberry flavour warming up. Medium bodied, very slick, alcoholwarming. Nice sipping beer. The warming helps you to remind its ABV, I guess thankfully. To me, a Belgian Strong Blonde.

Bottled at 3rd Brugs BF. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, malty, some wheat (?), light spices. Flavour is the same, with a good bitterness, leading to a dry bitter finish. Low carbonation, ligth to medium bodied.

Bottled (From BelgianShop). Hazy rubyish brown colour with mediumsized creamy berige head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel malts, some slight grassy notes as well as earth and yeast. Flavour is quite much the same along with dark dry fruits and liquorice as well. Feels a bit thin, even though it’s 6.5%.
