On tap at Earth Eagle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of yogurty lacto upfront, with a touch of citrusy stone fruit. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart strawberries and yogurty lacto. Decently constructed, with a lacto-y, acidic finish. Okay.

On tap at Earth Eagle, pours a cloudy peachy yellow, no head. Nose is bizarre, with lots of earthy roots, light blueberries and a touch of the ginger. Flavour brings out the ginger upfront, with fruity earthy notes and yeast. Too jumbled, but it's not bad for what it is.

On tap at Earth Eagle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light tangerine, with coriander, salt, and lacto. Flavour is loaded with very tart tangerines, with lacto and a touch of salt. A bit too tart, but it works.

Draught at the brewery, 5/27/18.
Clear, brass-golden. White head fades to light cover.
Lemon, wood, lemon balm and light spice leading to light peachy-apricot, very soft and lightly vegetal. Light honey mixes in from the malt and more spiciness emerges giving an almost Darjeeling-like character. Very much on par for this hop.
In the mouth it's full of tea-like spice and tons of orange and lemon. Woody yet soft and malty with high attenuation. Solid base malt sweetness at times, with engaging carbonation, no resin, alcohol or flaw. Nothing flashy or overly rich/intense, but just solid, well-brewed and balanced, as is the norm from EEB.

Draught at the brewery, 5/27/18.
Heavily hazy-to-cloudy, copper-bronze. Bubbles fizzle out immediately, leaving no head.
Smells of citrus, tea, kumquat and marmalade with spicy pepper and softer, floral lavender on the end. Nice, with some tangy character and moderate acidity but no where near overdone on the sourness.
Oranges and tea in the mouth with light hints of honeycomb leading to long citrus and moderate sourness. Low carbonation and lightly watery, appropriate to its size. Very drinkable. Dry, highly attenuated, but soft and malty, nonetheless. No alcohol or flaw.

Draught at the brewery, 5/27/18.
Slightly hazy, deep, rusty-copper. Off-white bubbles fizzle out immediately.
Gingerbread, spicy juniper, caramel, vanilla and a strong pumpkin character all give a very holiday Gruit-like impresion with the base malt balancing the spice/floral character nicely. It's highly aromatic and well-balanced, even going so far as to feel quite soft on the nose, despite all of the spice and acidity.
Dry, spicy gingerbread opens the flavor in the mouth. Cinnamon, brown bread, vanilla, juniper and a bit of herbed salt on the end. Big red fruits from the yeast, with a touch of marjoram. Tight carbonation and a soft-to-slick texture. High attenuation yet still nicely malty. Very little smokiness and no meat-like component. Excellent!

4 oz. draft sample at EE. Orange like color. Aroma is mild Apple, mild smoke, and slight roast petals. The flavor is rather odd for me. Dried flowers, Apple notes in the Pilsner malt backbone. The smoke is subtle but in the flavor without a doubt. Got to say, strange bird this one. The malt with the flowers does something to tame the sourness. Then throw in a touch of smoke, real different without a question.

4 oz. draft sample at EE. Another hazy yellow brew with slight white head. Nice aroma and flavor. Plenty of guava to balance the sourness. Decent balanced kettle sour. Mild lactic hint. Ends almost sweet. Easy to drink. Pretty good.

4 oz. sample at EE. Slightly hazy golden. Aroma is lemon, mild wood, slight lacto. Flavor is bold, stromg lemon, wood and everything else is subdued. Proper tartness and body. Great effervescent mouthfeel.
