Sample from tap at the brewpub in Minneapolis. Pours clear orange. Flowery and grapefruit fruity aroma. Strong bitter and flowery flavoured. Dry finish. Cask version was stronger on the hops.

On tap at Rock Bottom Minneapolis before the RBSG 2007 Grand Tasting. Clear golden yellow body with a small white head. Sweet honey and light grass aroma. Sweet caramel flavor with light grassy hops in the end.

On tap at Rock Bottom Minneapolis before the RBSG 2007 Grand Tasting. Dark black body with a small creamy light brown head that lasts a while. Sweet cocoa and molassas aroma and some rum soaked fruit. Sweet light coconut flavor with a chocolate background. Slightly astringent.

On tap at Rock Bottom Minneapolis on 05/26/2009. Very clear brown body with ruby highlights and a medium light tan head. Sweet nutty and slightly roasty aroma with some faint molassas. Sweet nutty flavor, some light roast and chocolate, and a touch of molassas. Fruity flavor, some light pale malt, and some floral almost tea-like hops.
