At Sakura Terrace The Gallery hotel. Smell of malt, some nuts. Deep copper colour, high beige head. Aroma of malt, nuts, earth, caramel. Lively carbon. Medium sweet. Pleasant.

Bottle at Attack Of The Tatsu. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has green tea and flora with growing grass and some sweet grains underlying. Flavor has an interesting combination of grass, citrus and green tea with a bit of sweet grain backing.

Weich hopfiger Beginn. Herb-würzig etwas trocken, leichte Süße, Noten von Lakritz, deutliche Bitterkeit, würzig, etwas Karamell, der Alkohol wird zunehemend mehr erkennbar. OK. 11/8/9/8/9/8

Rip top 330ml bottle from a Ranch 99 somewhere near my daughters in Laguna Hills where I drank it on 11th April 2026. Slight haze to the light golden body, white crust on top. Lacks oomph and direction, not much going on aroma or flavour wise to be honest. Struggled to find any enjoyment from this.

720ml bottle from Dan Murphys, Hurstville. Clear with a fainy yellow tint, no head and aroma of rice, fruits, earthy underhint. Taste is sweetish, rice, fruity, melon, with some warming earthy alcohol. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying warming finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from Dan Murphy's Hurstville. Clear very pale yellow colour, no head and aroma of rice, apple, banana. Taste is sweetish, rice, caramel hint, fruity, apple, some banana, and warming alcohol. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, drying fruity warm boozy finish. Nicely drinkable.

300ml bottle from BWS Marrickville. Cloudy white colour, no head and aroma of coconut, rice, bounty bar. Taste is sweet, coconut milk, rice, caramel, with some booze. Medium bodied, low carbonation, bounty-like finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can at Kyoto Station. Medium golden color. Aroma is biscuity malt, slightly savory, some caramel, and hops that are resiny with citrus. Very similar to several other beers in this series. Flavor is sweet malt, resiny hops, citrus, some spice. Ok hops, more like an APA to me. A lot like several of the others in the series, ok but not exciting.
