Keyaki. Nice. Light caramel, quite crisp, bit of sweetness but lots of grainy malt. Bit of dark fruit in there too and light bitterness. And nutty. Yum

Tap at Keyaki. Citrus and corinader version I guess. Citrus lime start with long salty finish. Quite grainy. Nice.

Tap at the brewery bar. Cloudy orange colour, creamy beige fluffy head. Aroma sweet and fruity, floral, bit of strawberry and plums too naturally. Taste is lovely. Very fruity, soft and sweet plum taste. Hint of orange too, and floral. Just a touch of bitterness. Very soft in mouth. Very nice.

Tap at the brewery bar. Hazy light amber/orange colour with touch of red in there. Head is fluffy off-white dotted with flecks of yama momo I guess, adding a pink tinge to it. Aroma is plum, slight funk, bit of bread malt. Taste is lovely. Little bit sour, lots of plum, nice fruit bits in it. Nice sweet element too. Very smooth and the inclusion of the bits of fruit are very nice. Slight vinous element. Very drinkable. Refreshing and tasty. Lovely.

Tap at the brewer bar. Orange colour with small white head. Aroma bit grainy and nice fruitiness. Bit peach, touch of orange. Some yeast. Quite subtle. Touch of citrus spike. Taste is nice. Initial bitterness but very easy drinking. Soft fruitiness and slightly sweet maltiness. Bit of orange coming through at end. Very nice. 2013 version drunk today. Alcohol has dropped to 5%. Really tasty today. Lightly fruity, with lots of graininess. Tastes good.

Bottle bought from the brewery. Cloudy rich yellow orange colour with small golden head that soon goes. Aroma is grainy, touch the bananas and cream you would expect, quite Belgian yeasty smell too. Something herbal in there too. All in all, quite subtle though. Taste is very nice, not as much sweetness as you might expect from a Weizen. Nice fruitiness, not too full on. Bit of banana and some berries too maybe. Slight citrus bite. Lots of graininess. Slight carbonation, but nice and full bodied too. In my opinion, every Zakko beer I've had has been a winner.

Bottle bought from the brewery. Dark brown colour with initial big golden head. Aroma is dark fruits, bit of chocolate, creamy. Not much else, but very nice nonetheless. Taste is similar, immediately lots of fruit, plums, touch of cherry, lots of roast malt, some creamy chocolate. Also something herbal in there giving it a really distinctive taste. Very nice. Haven't had a bad beer from this brewery.

Tap at CBM Jinbocho. Dark brown, big creamy golden head. Aroma is roasty chocolate, bit burnt, touch of 'punchiness', bitter citrus hoppy, slight creaminess. Taste is lovely, burnt, vanilla, milky chocolate, nice roastiness, touch of dark fruit there too and citrus bitterness again. Smooth. And tasty and very easy to drink.

Tap at Popeye. Hazy golden orange colour. Creamy off-white head. Aroma is medicinal, herbal, apples and bit of banana creaminess. Taste is nice. Crisp, wheaty, ginger more prominent than apple, but apple lurking there in the background and occasionally rising to the surface on some sips. Slight spiciness too. Pretty nice and a good starter.
