Icing sugar and peach. A little rice tang lingers on your tongue for a while. Can.

I’m drinking this in honor of the Ryomadouri Shotengai beer fest on today… Kizakura Devil’s Beer White Ale 5% The latest release in this devil series, has a nice fruity fragrance. Surprisingly light bodied with an abrasive carbonation. It’s a pretty generic white ale. Possibly worth trying once.

Bottle. Dark opaque green with a light green head. A bit of matcha, weeds, floral notes, tea. Not the best idea.

Can. Hazy pale gold, foamy white head. Floral notes, citrus, watery finish. Not great.

Can. Hazy pale gold with an off-white head. Citrus, herbs, floral notes, not great but not bad.
Japan - Thought they’d go all the way once the US was out the the picture, but it wasn’t to be. This beer is WILD, both in looks and taste. Vivid green, and super bitter from hops and tea. Slightly minty also. Crazy beer.

Bottle, undated, at Fins, 6/25/23. Wow that's horrifyingly neon green. Large, persistent mint head. Fruity, lightly piney hops with bitter green tea. Some lightly bready malts. Powdery bitterness, a bit sweet, low hops. Kinda sluggish. Can't get past that appearance, yikes.
Last night.
