24/10/2024. Bottle from Lopia Kyoto Yodobashi Supermarket. Pours slightly hazy orange amber coloured with a small bubbly off-white head. Not an attractive pour. Aroma is wheaty, bready, straw, citrus, sweet fruits, caramel, hint of herb. Quite sweet, moderate bitterness and body. Oily watery, average carbonation. Sweet finish. Fair. ,

Tap at Server Land. Interesting, tastes like a malty British bitter. Not much else there. Bit of sweetness. Alright. Very British though.

Tap at Beer Engine. Wheaty aroma, touch of sweetness, bit doughy. Taste has full on wheatiness, little bitterness, bit earthy. Feels kind of British, but with bit more carb.

Bottle from Hasegawa. Dark brown small golden head. Aroma is chocolate, touch of fruit, bit of soy sauce, savoury, roasty too. Taste is nice too, nice roastiness, slightly sweet maltiness. See what Kyoto Lefty meant with the cola element. Pretty decent, and very drinkable. Not mind-blowing, but perfectly tasty.

Bottle as Nagisa Belgian Wheat 5.5% I believe I’ve not seen this before so it’s gotta be a new beer, I like the new classic looking gothic font. Golden in color with a fluffy thick head but it has less staying power than most wheat beers I’ve head. The aroma is rich wheat and fruits with light spice notes. It’s got a good medium body that chewy and rich. Zesty citrus and rich fruit flavor with eggy wheat malt character. All in all pretty good.

Tap at Craft Beer Live 2019. Rather plain malty nose. Neither hops nor malt particularly impressive. Clear golden. Crisp, snappy and simple flavor. Well brewed but doesn't seem they thought about it much. Not as good as recent other lagers from them.

Tap @ Furusatomatsuri (18.01.2019) as Nagisa Dunkel Wheat IPA. Same 5% alcohol, so I am guessing it's the same beer. Creamy orange pour, somewhat cloudy with a rich off-white head. Nose has banana, yeast esters and some light hop herbs. Sweetish. Sweetness is more obvious in the taste, lightly bitter, grassy but also soft, wheat acidity and some light roast and dark fruits. Overall still relatively light experience there. banana and hops. Weird combination but kind of works. Not bad.

Tap at Bakuon 2018. Medium brown color. Nice malty nose, chocolate, wheaty notes, caramel. Soft and smooth with rich chocolate malt and a nice wheatiness. This was so quaffable I was bummed that they ran out and I had to get some from a friend.

Nomikurabe @ Oedo Beer Festival at Machida. Pours golden, somewhat hazy and not that strongly carbonated. Nose has light orange marmalade on top of bready malt base. Taste has lots of fruitiness, coupled with a sweet malty body that makes for a quite sweet beer. Fruity as well, yes. Decent but a bit underwhelming.
