Lovely nitro cascade but in a sad plastic cup.
Obvious dehydrated pb dust & some lactose on the nose.
Slightly sour, milky, nesquik & weak pb, with a slight herbal bitterness.
Milky nitro, too much cream.
Bit of a mess.

Well, it’s a light, grainy, very mildly hopped beer all right. Pretty bland. It doesn’t taste bad, but there is not much to recommend it.

Saugatuck Blueberry Maple Stout

12 oz can from Beerbox. Aroma is blueberry, caramel, maple, lightly roasty. Pours black with a half finger beige head that settles into a ring quickly. Taste is sweet with flavors of blueberry mostly, followed by maple.

Can, at the March 2025 DCBeer share. Poured a slightly hazy, but mostly clear amber color, small off-white head. Aroma was toasted caramel, light herbal hops. Falvor was light earthy character, light bitterness. Sweet malts.

Aroma is peppery, caramel, bready. Taste is moderately sweet with a firmly bitter hop backbone. Toasty, caramel-tinged flavors.

Pours amber and smells of toasted caramel malt. The well balanced flavor is of toasted caramel and mild hops bitterness. Easy drinking and quaffable.
