Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks zvikar. Cloudy amber-brown. Fruity esters, malt, caramel, yeast, bread, light spiciness, sweetish, a bit of tartness, medium-bodied. Decent.

Brown with a tan head. Caramel malt with some earth, chocolate, brown sugar. Medium bodied. Finish is malty and lightly booze-filled. Good beer.

Muy clara y limpia, dorada. Escasa espuma, poco duradera. Aromas cereal. En boca entra ligera, con predominio dulce, cereal y contrapunto de ligero amargor. Bebible y refrescante si está bien fría. Si no debe cansar.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, quite hazy yellow color, aroma of sour fruit, almond and spicy yeast, strong almond aroma, quite strong sourness, a bit coarse. Fair, but a bit too old.

Bottled (late Feb Tasting with MT & KS). Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is maize, some grains, bready malts and mild grassy notes. Flavour is sweetish maize and malts along with some grassy and herbal hops. Refreshing, but rather thin as for the palate.

Clear mahogany colour, moderate off-white head. The aroma is disturbed by notes of hay and cardboard. Also caramel & treacle are there. Medium body. Rich malty taste. Lots of caramel & molasses. Vinous. Low bitterness. Rather disappointing.
