Draft at McCall Brewing. Pours a true amber color with a thick finger of creamy beige head. Intense aroma of floral and piney hops? lightly malty. Big time hop flavors are pine and floral, somewhat dank. The taste is heavily bitter with a small amount of sweetness. Different than a lot of the other IPA?s lately in the bitterness is really ramped up along with a modest malt bill. That and it?s not hazy, so bonus points on appearance. Borders on an Imperial. Exactly what you?d expect from a stiff 90 IBU. Had it with the Payette Dip making just about the perfect lunch during a quick family outing.

On Tap light haze on teh pour. Light tan head, lasting think lacing. rather malty, slightly toasted flavors. Even ant only 6.7 the alcohol is noticeable. Smooth, low carbonation and full palate. Hop flavors are not particularly fresh or "late" but nice combination of citrus and resinous pine.

Bottle from Albertsons. Dark brown, some light peeking through, small skin of beige head. Dark malty aroma grows stronger in taste, slightly nutty, roasty, earthy. Mild bitterness finishes it. Spot on.

Draft at the brewpub. Deep ruby brown color with a small ring of beige head. Nose is mild, a bit muted in fact. Sweet bready malt and pitted fruit. A little bit of brown sugar. Better as it warmed, more of the fruit malt flavor comes out.
