Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark golden color with an enormous fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet with notes of cactus and pine. The flavor was bitter yet sweet and tangy with cactus. Pine and earthy hops. Long hoppy finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

At the source: brownish copper with a white head. Aroma is straw and malt, but not too much caramel and toffee as one would expect. Kind of earthy as well. Taste is earthy and slightly bitter hops. Not great.

At the source: pours that golden of German oktoberfests. Aroma is grainy with light caramel. Taste is slightly sweet and very easy to drink. Reminds me of German macros in the style. Not bad. Clean.
