Import Bottle. It took me this long to get to a Polish beer. This on clearance for 99 cents at Cub Food, so why not. This is pretty good as this style goes. Pours a big temporary head over a golden body. Definite bitter hop taste seems to impart slight toasty quality to the malt. Smell is pleasant, but with slight oxidation, but that’s the chance you take.

Older tick. Fairly average indeed - mainly malt with some sweet(ish) notes.

A light golden beer with a fine dense white head. The aroma is sour - my guess is brewing cereal. The flavor is sweet with sour notes and notes of caramel. Just an other boring pilsener.

This one poured a light yellow with awhite foamy head. Scents include sugar cane and corn with a slight metallic odour. First sip wasn't too bad. Medium carbonation with a sparse watery texture to it. Sloightly hoppy with a finish that was remotely bitter. Finish was kind of boring with nothing but a small amount of bitterness to it. Average.

VERY light golden colour with a dense white head. Strong metallic aroma with some sweetness. Medium-bodied; Sweetness in the taste, fairly different than the normal lager. Sweet malt taste, with a bit of sweetness. Overall, nice and refreshing. A pretty good beer for the style! Thanks to Radek for bringing this beer for everyone to try! I sampled this beer at Joey_Capps' on 13-September-2003 in Hamilton, Ontario.

Golden, mild, slightly grassy finish. Light on the hops for a Polish pilsner.

I had reservations but they were unfounded, as this was a decent brew. My major complaint is that this beer seemed way too overcarbonated. Otherwise there was nothing offensive about it and I look forward to trying Tyskie's other offerings. I noted that Surgeon General was spelled Sugeron General on the label. Insert Polish joke here.

Dark golden; firm, alcoholic nose; fairly light palate, touch of caramel, moderately long finish with late-emerging hop.
