Description
Founders Javier Aldea and Sami Claret have quite an out-of-the-ordinary corporate philosophy: they’ve been brewing beer without a brewery of their own – rather, they’ve been travelling the world as beer nomads and produced their creations together with craft-beer buddies elsewhere.

Now their idea has been given a home, so to speak – and the beer nomads have settled down a bit, because since 2018 the Nómada beers are being brewed in the pilot brewhouse of Mahou San Miguel's Alovera facility. This alliance with Mahou San Miguel (with a stake of 40% in Nómada) is intended to help the brand focus more closely on the Spanish beer market.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white, yellowish head. Spicy nose, as in Xmas cookies. Medium body, initially a little sweet caramel malt, again the Christmas cookie spices and then some welcome balancing hops. Some late warming alcohol. Your typical spice beer in the same vain as Pumpkin beers. 201219

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours clear gold with fine white foam. Aroma is citrus, vegetal, feeling tart. Body is average, like carbonation, with some astringency. Taste is medium sour, with moderate sapidity. Final is nice and astringent.

Balanced and nicely malt forward with properly subdued hops. But finishes a bit too sweet to be great. Drinks easily for 10% though. I would like more scotch esters from the yeast. Online saveaur bier

It is a spiced up xmas beer no doubt, the ginger may be slightly strong, but the underlying amber beer is quality. I think it is a good seasonal beer, but could use just a bit more balance toward the beer and not the spices. Saveur bier 2019 advent calendar

A decent sour, a bit musty, but a really good balance between fruity and mild sour and full body. Online saveur bier
