Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is malty with caramel, toffee, and some grainy notes. Not a lot of hop profile. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Drinkable but dull.

Good, dense, ever so slightly yellowish head over finely carbonated metallic golden beer. Almost no aroma, bit grassy, herbs & weeds, pale malts. Pale malts also dominating the taste, revived by good carbonation, hence hint at acidity. Straw, dry. Misses hops dearly. Light body, slight slickness. Ho-hum for a genuine German Helles. Almost clear golden beer with a off white head. Aroma of sweet wheat malt and citrus lemonade. Taste of sweet lemonade, citrons, wheat malt, some banana.

Bottle from the supermarket. Medium gold with a tall, fine head. Herbal hop nose, spicy, light lemon and light malt. Bready, doughy malt flavor, honey and biscuits, lemony hops, medium bitterness. Medium body. Not bad, but a bit too worty/doughy for the style.

0,33 bottle. A nice firefighter-dwarf Belgian style bottle, a nice cap, which unfortunately gets lost when opened, as it can be torn... The color is a nice amber, unfiltered, but not cloudy, with a coppery touch. The head is medium, dense, and even thinly remains, but only in a hint. Aroma: very delicious! Dried fruit mixed with malty-caramel notes. Sophisticated, just right. It brings the classic - better - keller notes at the first sip. Not so musty, cellar-like, fresher than these. The taste is also more complex! It received much more hops than its peers, which also brought much more fruitiness. The citra-cascade hopping had its effect, it became a very special kellerbier. It is both beautiful and good, full-bodied according to the category.. I have no complaints about it, and I have no reason to give it fewer points! P.S.: the WBA Gold on the label didn't influence me, I've already rated some that I didn't think were good.. This was good!!! It's possible that there is some difference between vintages for this beer, it seems like it worked out very well this time.

Jópofa tűzoltó-törpés belga style üveg, szép kupak, ami sajnos bontáskor elvész, mivel téphető... Színe szép borostyán, szűretlen, de mégsem zavaros, rezes beütésű. Habja közepes, sűrű, és vékonyan még meg is maradt, de csak mutatóba. Aroma: nagyon finom! Aszalt gyümölcs-keveredik a malátás-karamelles jegyekkel. Kifinomult, pont jó. Első kortyra hozza a klasszikus - jobb - keller jegyeket. Nem annyira dohos, pincés hatású, frisebb az ilyeneknél. Az íze is összetettebb! Jóval több komlót kapott ilyen társainál, ami jóval több gyümölcsösséget is hozott. A citra- cascade komlózás megtette hatását, egészen különleges kellerbier lett. Szép is, jó is, kategóriának megfelelően testes.. Semmi panaszom nincs rá, és okom sem, hogy kevesebb pontot adjak neki! Ui.: nem befolyásolt a WBA Gold a címkén, pontoztam már le olyanokat, amik nem voltak szerintem jók.. Ez jó volt!!! Elképzelhető hogy ennél a sörnél évjáratonként némi különbség becsúszik, úgy látszik ez most nagyon jól sikerült.
