Review according to BJCP2008 guidelines (style 15A). Bottle 50 cl - batch A090119. AROMA: wheat aroma with a somewhat sweet mixed aroma. very low esters or phenols. No hop aromas. APPEARANCE: dark golden color with orange tint. no haze with long lasting white head. TASTE: low wheat flavour. some residual sweet flavor present maybe due to malt. no phenols or esters. no hop flavour. finishes somewhat sweet. PALATE: medium body with medium to high carbonation. OVERALL: an odd weissbier with sweet after-taste.

(Can) Pours hazy golden with huge white head. Pleasant aroma with bread, pepper, and herbal notes. Medium body with plenty of gentle carbonation. Flavour is malt dominated with some light toffee and bready tastes. There’s a little bitterness in the finish. There’s some spice notes, mainly pepper. Pleasant, easy drinking.

(Can) Pours clear pale golden with decent white head. Aroma is grain. Light body with bright carbonation. Grain / cereal start, developing some not very pleasant bitterness towards the end for quite a long finish. Drinkable but not great

Bottle from Honest Brew. Pours a pale gold with moderate sized white head, nice retention and solid lacing. Aroma of grains, some creaminess, floral and grassy hops, light spice, quite fresh in note. Taste of sweet grainy and slightly bready malt but quite clean, light tangy fruit, floral and grassy finish but only leads to a mild lingering bitterness. I was willing it to have a crisper Pils like finish to match the cleanness in the malts but not to be. Light bodied and refreshing but has a decent smoothness to it. Turned out to be a good light refreshing Helles.
