Description
Mixed fermentation brewery specialising in locally sourced, heavily fruited and hop-forward beers with a sense of place and seasonality.

Big flavours and bright colours, that’s what you can expect from Vault City Brewing. We’re the UK’s biggest sour beer producer and we’ve been making fruit-forward, modern sour beers in Edinburgh since 2018.

Our mixed fermentation style and distinctive house culture create the perfect base for real fruit ingredients, which gives our beer its intense aroma and flavour, not to mention the eye-catching colours.

Enjoyable overall. Has a jammy sweetness about it. Mellow citric bite. Limited tea vibes. Could do with a little less sweetness, but overall enjoyable. Doesn’t look like much, though, a bit murky.

Rød uklar med rosa skum. Lukter skogsbær, bringebær, kirsebær, tyggegummi og noe lime og ost. Fruktig. Smaker røde bær og noe vanilje.

Can from Eltham Sainsburys. Fruit fuelled nose of mango, papaya, peach, pineapple, apricot, kiwifruit, passionfruit. Rich smoothie fruity flavours of the above with a spot of pink grapefruit coming through in the back end. Cocktailesque fruity brew. Very nice.Proper summer-y stuff.
