The second in our iced tea series comes in the form of a super-crushable table sour, conditioned on lemon juice, zest, and steeped black tea.

Refreshing, dry and sensationally balanced.

Murky orange pour with a smal white head. Aromas of lemon, malt, black tea. Taste is tea, lemon, some malt and white bread, tart finish. OK overall, but not too much of a beer.

33cl can from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours orange gold, fairly hazy, with fine white foam. Aroma is intensely fruity, tropical, citrus, and tart. Body is partially dense, with average carbonation and a nice astringency, tartness. Taste is quite sour, with some fruity sweetness. Final is average, still partially tart.

330ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Weird colour: strong milky tea mixed with apple juice. Hazy. A thin filmy white head with a stronger ring. Aroma of strong lemon iced tea, alright. Maybe some softer citrus pulp mixed in. Taste is strongly sour, the lemon is overpowering. A bit of tea leaf creeps in but this is mostly tart, tart lemon. Big full body for the ABV, soft carbonation. White grapefruit and -you guessed it, more lemon - round out the aftertaste. Ok but not one of my favourites.

Can at home picked up from Vault city online. A hazed dull orange brown coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is big vibrant spicy sicilian lemons, spicy citrus, pinch of salt, perfume. Flavour is composed of big bitter citrus, lemon rind, spicy citrus, some sweetness. Palate is sharp and tart, some sweetness, highish carbonation, Super sharp and sweet. Good fun, but hard to get through.

(Draught at BrewDog Camden, London, 16 Nov 2023) Cloudy orange colour with brief head. Fruity nose with notes of lemon, peaches and tea. Fruity, tart taste with tea, lemon, papaya and peaches. No bitterness. Light body, dry. Well, it's a bit of an odd bird, but really tasty and refreshing. Very nice.

Keg @ Somewhere in Brum with blackhaddock. Dirty dull hazed gold, not much of a head remaining. However, there's a good whiff of lemon iced tea, which reveals itself more to taste, really seems to capture the tea element rather than simply a lemon sour. Really nicely presented VC yet again.

On Tap, Somewhere in Brum with Mat on 25th January 2024. Murky golden pour, wispy twirl on top. I am not a 'Lemon Tea' person and I certainly don't touch cold tea, ever; that said I really enjoyed the novelty of this beer and it did (I suspect) smell and taste of Lemon Iced Tea. Not going to find, then buy a bucket load though!

330ml can. Murky orange, white head. Aroma of cloudy lemonade. Taste is like their cloudy lemonade too, the tea is very subtle, just sweet and sour lemon really. Very nice.

Lemon gives some Sour for the otherwise overall sweetness
