375ml bottle. Pours hazy deep purple with a large head. Aroma is bitter coffee, chocolate and sour blackberries. Taste has sour chocolate and blackberries throughout with a bitter coffee finish.

12th September 2020 Dark bruised cherry red beer, tiny tiny pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine minerally crispness. Ripe black cherries and bold and well integrated almond. Very very good take on a cherry Bakewell, lacks a little pastry sweetness. Shame! Some cherry tartness on the light crisp finish. Yeah, works very well on a sour scale but is never defined by it. Tart fruity finish. Works for me, delivers the cherry almond vibe very well.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy deep golden - orange with a frothy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, zingy, tangy, sherbet, citrus fun times, yuzu, lemon-lime, satsuma and sour candy. The taste is tart, tangy, juicy, sour, musty, sweaty, quick thick, zingy citrus, yuzu, pithy satsuma, melon, greengage, lime, pineapple, some mid palate bitterness, some booze, pine, soor plooms and damp wood. Finish woody and tangy. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Sits a bit heavy on the palate if truth be told. Decent enough, but a bit substandard for Vault City.
