Pre-Borefts Tasting at the Kim Jung Un Buurtcentrum in Zaandam. Thank you for sharing! 750 ml. bottle. Very pale golden, massively carbonated, highly carbonated, head fizzes away instantly. Nose is weird sweet glue, sugar, candy, all overly sweet glue, sugar, candy, plastic,… High carbonation. Lots of sugar, candy, pear, overly sweet milky, candy very weird, sweet milky with high carbonation. 3

Bottle. Unclear pale golden color with white head. Aroma is lots of pear, funk, custard. Taste is pear, lots of spiciness, dry finish. Mealy mouthfeel with fizzy carbonation. Not great unfortunately, but alright.

Bottle shared at pre-Borefts tasting. Thanks for sharing all! Slight hazy yellow straw. Funky pears, mineral, light creamy funk, earthy, CO2, light herbal, soft glue. Medium tart, light sweet and bitter. Over light bodied with fizzy carbonation.

Borefts pre tasting, 2018. Poured a clear opaque colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet caramel, apple, The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a smooth, fruity apple palate and a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium to light bodied with average to lively carbonation.

On tap at La Fine Mousse. Deep orange with a lacy head and bubbles. Rich apple nose, some caramel and plums. Semi-sweet, baked honey apples with lemon, caramel, wood. Balanced and tasty. Good.

Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with white head and lots of fizz in the glass. Sweet dried apples, dry oak, sweaty and hairy farm animals, goats, long haired cows, straw, almond, dried apricots, camamebert, sweaty farm funky. Sweet and moderate bitter, some tannins. Clear glass bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear dark golden with fizzy white head that lasts a few seconds. Insane stables smell. This just smells so much like goat sweat and cow it’s insane. It’s like being next to some cows that did some heavy exercise the day before and didn’t shower. Soft apple, mineral notes, light sulphur, cow piss, light lemon and old wood. Medium sweet and light bitter and even lighter bitter. Medium bodied. This is so crazy barn! Not bad but a bit of an acquired taste I guess.
