Bottle. A dark brown beer with a small, beige head. Unclear. The aroma is roasted tending towards burnt, with some charcoal and dried fruits. Prunes and dried figs. Some sweetness in the flavor, but it’s actually quite dry. Roasted malts, charcoal and dark dried fruits. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting roasted and lightly burnt finish with some charcoal and prunes. A bit burnt for my likings, but a fine beer anyway. 141220

65cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Pours clear golden with a white head. Surprisingly vinous aroma of white wine grapes, some herbal notes, mild grassy and malty with hints of sour fruits. Surprisingly grape dominated flavour, but well balanced and with a nice acidity and bitterness. Tasty one!

(Bottle) Clear golden amber with good white head. Nice crisp citrusy aroma - grapefruit with pine notes and some sweeter floral or stone fruit hints. Medium body with good carbonation. Taste has lovely fresh citrus start and quickly develops hoppy bitterness that grows into a a sustained decently bitter finish. There are some biscuity malty undertones from the mid palate. A very decent pale ale.
