Bottle pour at the Frankfurt Apfelwein Festival 2018. Deep, clear, honey golden color, orange tints. Lovely. Dry, somewhat coy light honey and apple sweetness in the nose, with some minerals. You expect sweet honey apples from the look but it is a bit deceptive. There is just a light sweetness, very elegant. Soft, elegant flavor, minerally, enticing. Like a great Riesling. Lovely.

Bottle pour at the Frankfurt Apfelwein Festival 2018. Shiny, bright golden color, flat. Aroma of warm baked apples, lemon, some minerals. Nice light sweetness in the flavor then turns tart and minerally. Silky, soft body, falt. Good stuff indeed. Not sure what the previous raters were drinking. this is class.

Von Fass at the Frankfurt Apfelwein Festival 2018. Medium golden-orange color. Flat. Nose is tart apples and minerals. Flavor is acidic and tart, light apple sweetness. Full body, slightly ily. Better than average for a schoopen.

5/8/2018. Bottle from Galeria Kaufhof Frankfurt. Pours pale gold with a very short lasting white head. Aroma of light sour apples. Light sweetness, medium sour. Light body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Nice tart finish, slightly salty. Not bad, one of the better supermarket Apfelweins I've tried.

Tasting @ Koelschtrinker. Sweetish fruity peachy beginning. Dry sourish, fruity nice. Smooth fruity peachy sourish body, a bit alcoholic but round.

Tasting @ Koelschtrinker. Dry and tart woody beginning. Not easy to drink, very dry and sourish woody. Intense dry woody apples in the aftertaste.

Tasting @ Koelschtrinker. Sweetish neutral bitter beginning. Very tart with ripe apples. No sourness. Long and herbal fruity apple aftertaste, not too deep but round and bitter tart. Interesting with a tart bitter appley aftertaste.
