Description
Hills is a kraft beer of a small independent brewery near the city of Plovdiv. The place where the classic traditions of brewing become the end product so that we can enjoy a truly pure, high-quality beer together.
Hills is made of pure mountain water from the Rhodopes and specially selected high quality raw materials from Germany. The recipes are by master brewer Wolfgang Trautner - with over 29 years of experience in the industry. The whole process is controlled by three Bulgarian technologists in the brewery, who take care from "A to Hills" for compliance with the "German Beer Purity Act of 1516."

Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up from 1001 Beers. Pours mostly clear brown with a creamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with ample toasted malts, milk chocolate, earth, old raisins, a little Road. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more earthy notes, dried semi-dark fruits, cocoa. Enjoyable, has kind of an old-school vibe about it.
