Description

[33cl can from Beer52 as Forever Young Slick Rick White IPA,] A slightly hazy amber pour with a fast fading white head; tropical fruit aroma; soft texture with some stone fruit flavours; and a light grassy bitterness. Not a great IPA.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is pale malt, slightly tart fruits, citrus, some lemon, mildly floral and grassy hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a hint of tartness. Medium bodied. Surprisingly enjoyable hoppy Blond, nicely fruity and grassy, easy drink, hits the right notes.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is sweetish malt with wheat, spicy yeast, banana, some apple, bit floral, and sugary notes. Flavour is above medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Sweet and malty with spicy yeast, bit sugary, not very appealing to me.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is sweetish malt with caramel, soft yeasty notes, toffee, some dried fruits, and a metallic touch. Flavour is sweet with a moderate sharp bitterness. Body is medium. Not as yeasty as I like my Weizenbock, decent but lacks smoothness.

Aroma is citrussy with pine, malt, orange, and tangerine. Light grapefruit, bittersweetish flavour. Body is medium. Nice. Not a NEIPA by any strech of the imagination, but as an old school sweet piney orangey IPA its rather pleasant.

330ml can. Pours a cloudy gold with mid-sized white head. Aroma and flavour is quite fruity and reasonably fresh with a fruit salad note and mild hop splash. Crisp medium body and a slight dryness in the finish. Enjoyable.
