Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 4, 2020. Aroma is hop forward and super fruity with lots of melon, passion fruit, mango, guava and tropical citrus. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a hazy, dull, dusty, straw color with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Medium to medium light bitterness and a hint of alcohol spice. Fairly strong, juicy hop notes of melon, passion fruit, mango and tropical citrus with lighter dank notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol. Overall, a really juicy IPA with a ton of melon and tropical fruit aroma. Flavor is slightly less juice dominant, but still really nice. One fo the better hazies from Temescal.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 5, 2020. Aroma is a balanced blend of grain and bread as well as grassy, herbal hop notes. Medium light floral notes as well. Pours a somewhat clear, gold color with a medium large, medium thick, frothy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that linger sin clumps on the edges. Flavor is somewhat dry and crisp with a medium light sweetness and medium light grain notes with hints of bread. Medium bitterness and a hint of alcohol. Light floral notes with moderate grassy, herbal hop character. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty decent pils. Solid balance of hops and malt with a balanced crispness and light sweetness. Very easy drinking.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 11, 2020. Aroma is hop forward with moderately strong notes of gooseberry, passion fruit, melon, mango and tropical citrus with lighter dank, resin note. Light grain and bread notes. Pours a fairly clear, brilliant, yellow-gold with a large, moderately thick, frothy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Medium light lacing and no legs. Flavor is slightly sweet and fairly crisp with light grain and bread notes. Moderate bitterness and a hint of alcohol spice. Moderately strong hop notes of gooseberry, passion fruit, mango and tropical citrus with lighter dank, resin notes. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with lots of hop character and a solid, light, crisp, malt profile.

Poured from a 33 oz crowler purchased yesterday. Aroma is roast forward with a slightly lighter chocolate note. A light dark fruit note with hints of caramel and toffee. Pours black with dark brown hues on the edges and a medium sized, fairly thick, frothy, dark tan head that recedes quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet and malt forward. Lots of roast with lighter chocolate and oat notes. Light caramel and toffee notes. Light dark fruit notes. Medium bitterness and a hint of alcohol. Faint woody hop notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent Irish stout with solid malt notes.

Poured from a 32 oz crowler purchased today. Aroma is a balanced blend of malt and hops. Quite a bit of cracker, biscuit and caramel with lighter woody, grassy, herbal hop notes. A slightly fruity, vinous note. Pours a hazy, copper-orange with a medium large, medium thick, frothy, white head that recedes quickly to the edges and lingers for a bit. Medium light lacing and no legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light caramel malt and lighter notes of cracker, honey and biscuit. Medium light bitterness and faint alcohol. Light woody, herbal, grassy hop notes. A slightly odd fruity, grape note that lingers a bit in the finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied and a bit watery with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a bit of a disappointing beer. The odd grape note is weird and it's pretty thin and watery. Malt profile and hops are decent.

Poured from an under filled 32 oz crowler purchased earlier today. Aroma is malt forward with lots of toasted bread, nuts, caramel and toffee. Light fruity notes of raisin, prune and dates. Hints of floral esters. Pours an auburn-brown with some dark amber hues on the edges and a medium large, thick, pillowy, tan head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Light lacing and no legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with lots of malt character. Lots of toasted bread with light notes of caramel, toffee and nuts. Light notes of raisin and dates. Medium light bitterness and faint alcohol. Faint fruity and floral esters. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer. Good malt profile and clean fermentation.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated March 31, 2020. Aroma has a moderate grain note with light bread note. Faint floral and fruity esters with light noble hop notes. Pours a rather clear, pale, yellow gold with a large, medium thick, frothy,.white head that recedes quickly and disappears. No lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light grain notes and a bit of bread character. Light floral and faint fruity esters. Light spicy, floral, herbal hop notes. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice beer and one of the better lagers I have had from Temescal. Nice grain notes and faint esters and light hop notes.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated March 16, 2020. Aroma is fruity and hop forward with lots of citrus, including orange, tangerine, lime and tropical citrus with light berry and tropical fruit notes. Light cracker malt notes and light alcohol spice. Pours a hazy, murky, golden orange with a large, medium thick, frothy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes and hints of biscuit and caramel. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol spice. Lots of hop flavors of orange, tangerine, lemon, lime, tropical fruit and a bit of berries. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent DIPA with tons of Ekuanot hop character in both the aroma and flavor. Not my favorite hop in the flavor, but the aroma is nice.

Pours a very clear, yellow gold with a medium large, thick, frothy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Medium light lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a light to medium light sweetness with light grain and bread notes. Medium bitterness with a hint of alcohol spice. hints of grassy, herbal hop notes and a touch of floral esters. Mouthfeel is light bodied and a bit crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty decent pilsner. The hop notes are definitely more prevalent in the aroma than in the flavor and the finish is a bit crisper than other recent Temescal lagers.
