Can from the lcbo. Clear golden pour, almost no head. Musty grains Aroma, some apples and wet paper. Thin mouth feel, low carb. Apple, and wet paper finish. Original review text: Nice golden pour, rocky, white head. Decent cereal, and grains aroma. Not much in the way of hops, maybe some light floral grass, but its thin. The mouth feel is good, but the carb is a tad too soft. the finish is a touch vegetal, but the grains come through, and some light hops. This isnt half bad, i was surprised. Was expecting another butter bomb.

Clear copper pour, medium off white head.aroma I’d grassy, with some nice bready cereals. Solid mouth feel, and carb. Finish is clean, medium bitter, with some nice grassy hop notes and slightly nutty malts.

650ml bomber from the the L see bee oh. Clear copper pour,month a big slightly tan head. Really nice cereals, and pale malts. Hints of spice, maybe even some rye. The hops are earthy, and grassy, even a little green like some UK holdings. The body and mouth feel are spot on. The finish is clean, a little fat, but pleasant. Quite biscuity, and there is a definit UK influence here. Might even fall into the bitter category. A nice quaff.

Bomber from the lcbo. Clear copper pour, with almost no head. Aroma is basic sweet, bready caramel malts with grassy hops. This is a typical Ontario amber ale. Not offensive by any means, but also incredibly boring and I can’t tell it from a thousand other bare bones amber ales.

Copper pour, small white head. Light caramel, and toasted malt and nuts aroma, with some light grasses. Good carb, and solid mouth feel. Medium bitter finish, crisp, clean cereals. Nothing earth shattering, but solid and sessionable.

Brown sugar, grainy malt. Light hops and an odd burnt toast aroma. Flavor is pretty bland other than some light roast and more burnt toast. A pretty poor offering.

Volo Cask Days 2009. This was interesting, Some sweet malts come through, touches of vanilla, and you can really smell the peanut butter. the flavor had more peanut butter, and the same sweet malty base they use in their brown ale. Im not finding any jam, but this beer was an intense sweetness in the end. Really when you get down to it, its a pretty messy beer, not unlike pb and j being a messy sandwich.
