Keg at Fogg Bar, Madrid, 29/10/22. Hazed golden orange with a lasting just off white head. Nose is melon, tangerine, grass, airy malts. Taste comprises orange pith, light mineral bite, grass, melon, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Passable offering.

Dorée claire avec une belle mousse blanche.
Arôme est frais bien houblonné avec un léger apport tropical avec une pointe de fruits à noyaux en retrait. Le tout surfe un peu sur ce côté lager qui ajoute un bouquet plus classique.
Palais est frais, malté pâle voire pils avec une base lager qui se ressent et est de suite accompagnée par des notes de ce single hop Mosaic procurant des pointes fruitées tropicales, pêche de vigne avec une pointe de pin. L'amertume est franche et belle en fin de bouche.
In fine, très belle surprise de cette lager IPA venant de cette brasserie basque qui m'était inconnue. Pas étonnant d'avoir gagné un prix dans ce style.

Aroma: green oniony hops, pine needles and grapefruit. Nice aroma indeed. Taste: refreshing and fruity. Balanced bitterness. Yeah, it works. Next one please!

Tap at the penguin bar Bilbao. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet. Floral citrus lemon, pineapple, mineral, peachy. Flavour is composed of soft bready, floral citrus, pineapple, tangy guava, white peach. Tea leaves.

Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Long lasting and mostly lacing. Aroma: grainy and malty, little citra nose. Taste: citrusy and malty with a grapefruit fruity finish. Balanced and refreshing but weak hoppy profile.
