330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with short tan head. Aromas of chocolate fudge , bourbon and roasted malts. Flavors of maple syrup, sweet bourbon, graham cracker and soft roasty malts. A little thin botnotherwide quite good.

Tap at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 14th January 2026, sat outside by the canal, getting cold though. This was a very well balanced tart, bretty and drinkable brew - lovely

Bottle at Café DeRat, Utrecht Friday 9th January 2026, after a long wet walk from the hotel via Dr Kromme Harring (not open until 4pm, schoolboy error 😐) we visited Eetcafé de Poort first and as nice as it is, the beer choice is disappointing. Pours very dark brown/black with a light tan head. Liquorice and caramel dominate, doesn't taste 11%, it's a bit tangy, fruity edge. Good. Score 7.0

Sampled from bottle at "Hooghe Noorden Tasting 2025". Clear lightl amber color, small white head. Aroma is dusty. Flavor is malts, tripel-ish. Not too bad. Okay beer.

Ambar oscura, rojiza. Espuma ocre de buen tamaño y retención media. Aroma madera con notas ahumadas. En boca buen cuerpo, amargor moderado, tono licórico, sabor malteado pero predominan las notas ahumadas de madera, y especias que aportan cierto dulzor.
