Can from Ledgers. It pours a clear pale golden color with a large foamy white head. The aroma is kind of catty and earthy up front with hints of garlic, pine, pineapple and grapefruit. The flavor is not quite as catty with more of the tropical fruit and pine. Medium earthy/garlicy bitterness. Dry, with good pale malt flavor and a medium body. Perfect carbonation. Really well done, I’m just not digging the catty/garlic/earthy hops.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is dankish citrus/pine. Med + body. This stuff is very hoppy, and an unusual wheat/oat/barley/? flavor comes right after the hop melts away. And the hop is so strong and so towards dank, that I actually was thinking of burnt rubber in terms of intensity (not flavor). There’s something in this flavor dichotomy that must reflect the "Straddler" part of the name. Like it’s straddling the "malt" and hop characteristics? Anyway the beer is quite tasty and nice to drink.

Pours dark brn/blk with a tan head. Aroma is dark malt/ coffee and/or chocolate/fruit. Med body. Flavor is dark malt/ cinnamon!/some fruit, but not raspberry for me. A fairly tasty, slightly lactic, slightly spicy stout. But ... raspberry?

Tap at the tap room. Pours brassy gold with a beige head. Aroma of coffee with some tropical fruit notes. Med body. Flavor is nice coffee followed quickly by grape and tropical fruit. Coffee is strong enough I’m having trouble finding malt. It’s bitter and fruity. Kind of breakfast in a glass. Astringent too. It’s really different, but quite good.

Tap at the tasting room. Apparently this was a variant at 4.5%. No claim to the Temple brand of coffee. Poured dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of coffee and darkish treacle. Med body at least. Flavor was treacle, coffee, and it seemed smoky. Fairly dry. Mildly bitter. Pretty nice.
